ABOUT CALLIE

Callie is a wife and mom of four kids, a Christian yoga instructor, personal trainer and a first-time author.

She teaches Christ-centered yoga classes at her local YMCA. In these classes, she reads scripture to her students, asks contemplative questions, and offers ways to apply the Biblical message to their lives. She does this through the practice of yoga, which offers space to pause during workouts and focus on the present moment.

Her new book “Moving Meditations” was inspired by the Holy Spirit and born from Callie’s journaling and the messages she shared in her classes. Her 12-year-old daughter and husband played key roles in helping her capture the movement-focused content for the book.

Callie holds certifications as a 200-hour Holy Yoga Instructor, 300-hour Living Soul Institute Instructor, Primary Personal Training from FITTOUR and Prenatal Yoga. She is also a certified Medical Fitness Yoga Specialist.

Her passion is Jesus and fitness. She has been intersecting these two parts of her life since 2018. Knowing that "our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit" fuels her passion to help her clients feel good in their body and to love their body so that they can live into the great commission and whatever calling God has put on their life.

Testimonials

"I always look forward to Callie's class to get my week started awesome!! Callie is such a blessing to me! I had never done yoga before and went to a beginner class with a different teacher. I was overwhelmed and turned off. Then, someone recommended Callie's class to me. Callie had a different approach and it really helped me. Her class has made me fall in love with doing yoga. I'll be forever grateful to her!"

"Callie's classes have been a blessing and a comfort to me and I always look forward to seeing Callie and I think she is the absolute best! And I love her playlists! I'm grateful for all she does to lead us closer to Jesus and make us stronger!"

-Judy L (Clover, SC)

"I started working with Callie when I was pregnant with my second. I was having lots of pelvic floor pain and pressure. I wanted to be strong during my pregnancy, labor, and recovery. Callie not only helped me get my body ready but she also helped prepare me mentally. She taught me breathwork, mantras, and bible verses that I still use weekly if not daily while navigating my way through difficult parenting situations. She helped me realize that although I had a traumatic birth with my first, it was still a beautiful birth which she helped me heal from. She also prayed over me and she was one of the first people I texted when I went to the hospital and after I had had a successful v-back. She designed the exercises specifically for me and truly listened to what I needed and any medical feedback. She has a wonderfully calming presence but also pushes you when you need it. I recommend Callie to many of my friends whether they are pregnant, healing from losing a family member, or experiencing chronic pain and I recommend her to you!"

That is my most recent playlist! It goes along with the series Names of God in my yoga classes! Enjoy!

Yoga is not for the flexible. It is for the willing. Flexibility is the process of your body becoming accustomed to the sensations that come with greater range of motion in the joints and muscles. Therefore, yoga is a process of becoming flexibile.

This is not a one size fits all answer. You must trust your body and learn not to push it past pain. When did your injury occur? Does it affect your activities of daily living? Consult a doctor.
